Waisake Naholo Highlander season

Reminiscing on Waisake Naholo.

Reminiscing this video caught my eye. Haven't heard how he's progressing with his rehab. Wishing him well as he sits probably frustratingly on the sideline.

Here's a clip of his 2015 season highlights.

Lima Sopoaga was tipped to start

Mongolian Highlanders Fans reckoned Meyer was right on the nose with his thinking and so it's been proved.

The No 10 has been given the nod

He'll be itching to front up against the 'Box and what better place to kick ass than the high veld. Lima Sopoago is a big lad with all the under pressure skills we've seen this past Super Rugby season with the Highlanders.Heyneke Meyer will be scratching his head as to how to contain the big fella who just loves the big time and Saturday at Ellis Park will be big time.

Sopoaga wont have an armchair ride but at least he'll have plenty of support from his other half, Smith and his Wellingto mates. The Springbox are in for a torrid time.

Go get 'em Lima Sopoaga , Highlander, All Black.

Go the ALL BLACKS

ps. We're still hurting for Waisake Naholo

Waisake Naholo Attitude

You can't teach attitude. Good employers will tell you that. You can teach a skill. Anybody with a self demanding positive attitude can learn a new skill. Successful employers, businesses, employ attitude first.

Waisake Naholo has heaps of it, demonstrated many a time, thats why he's an All Black. He demonstrated it again on Friday night during his debut match.

Another thing, you saw a few mistakes naturally a few nerves but anybody worth his or her salt welcomes mistakes, failures, that's when you learn of course so long as you've got that magical ingredient, a positive attitude.

First up, not spectacular, hungry for work, given a bit of reign, all in all a good job. Mongolian Highlander Fans were pretty happy.

travelers rest Waisake Naholo Highlander All Black

WOW!! Mongolian Highlanders Fans can’t wait. Highlander Waisake Naholo made it. The AB débuts tonight.

Of course we knew he would join the All Black ranks. He was a cinch. All season he has epitomized what the Highlanders have been all about, Belief. Belief in individual selves, Belief in their mates, and Belief in their team. And Mongolian Highlanders Fans backed them all the way.

Now the big stage. To see him marauding around the field, slicing through the opposition like a Mongolian warrior of old will be a sight to behold.

Waisake Naholo doesn’t need the bounce of the ball. He has the vision, the speed the will to succeed no matter what the odds that all conquering warriors possess.

Mongolian Highlanders Fans will be watching in admiration when Waisake Naholo, Highlander, All Black, débuts tonight.

Highlanders Super Rugby Champions

Genghis Khan

Genghis Khan’s Highlander Fans Honor the great achievement

From the wilderness steppes of Mongolia, Genghis Khan and his warriors swept all before them to conquer the Capital cities of Asia and Europe.

The Chinese built the great wall but even that was to no avail. Likewise, for the valiant Hurricanes, neither the moat, that natural barrier called Cook Strait nor the Cake Tin Fortress were protection from the hordes from the south, the mighty Highlanders.

They, like the battle hardened Mongolian invaders grew in statue during the campaign, saw, came and tonight conquered the worthy Hurricane Capital City dwellers.

The county boys from the south, like Ginghes Khan troupes before them, did what many but the most loyal believers thought was unassailable, became giants in mind and soul, followed their grand, their mighty leader, Nasi Manu and deservedly took the Super Rugby Grand Final spoils.

So what can we say we are lost for words. You were great, you were fantastic, you were all that we believed in.

Our Warmest Congratulations, to the Highlanders the Super Rugby 2015 Champions.

From your Mongolian Highlander Fans.

Where the future begins

As a man thinketh

By James Allen

Mind is the Master power that moulds and makes,

And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes

The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills,

Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills:—

He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass:

Environment is but his looking-glass.

What was this young lass thinking? I had wondered at the time, and even now.

Sain baina uu khari

Close friends Gers Mongolian Stepps

We had arrived in the old Lada with little warning, had interrupted her life. She had seen the curiosity and excitement on our faces yet hers had shown tentativeness, a shyness, which differed from her siblings. Had heard our strange language. Had craned and giggled, tip toed and squeezed closer, as she peered over the youngsters to see her image on our high tech screens. Had quietly helped her mother around the Ger, stirred the big container of yaks milk yogurt by the door, 50 times this way, 50 times that, all the while giving us fleeting glances. Had likely been in awe of us guests sleeping on the special thick woolen mat laid closest to the squat potbelly stove.

And there we were, up at first light, with the women, lending a hand with the morning chores, milking the yaks, untethering their penned up, share milk calves, latching them on to suck dry the almost drained udders. Likewise with the in-milk ewes and does while the men looked after the frisky mares. All livestock, be they yak, sheep, goat, horse were treated like family for they contributed to the well being of all.

And she, quietly confidently naturally did her thing.

What were her secret thoughts?

Were we like some disruptive technology that spurred her to break the mold?

Was she thinking, this is where my future begins?
